The official map

Starlink publishes a coverage map at starlink.com/map. Areas show as available or coming soon. A shaded area does not promise every plan at every address.

Open orders vs waitlist

If your area is open, you can order and get a ship date. If capacity is limited you may see a waitlist or a refundable deposit instead. A deposit does not guarantee service, and dates can slip.

Why a neighbor can order and you cannot

Availability is set by address and local demand. A neighbor may have ordered earlier, may be in a different cell, or may have an older offer. Use the address where the dish will actually sit.

Check for obstructions

The dish needs a clear view of the sky. In the Starlink app, open the obstruction check and scan from where you plan to mount it. Try more than one spot, and do not climb onto a roof to do it.

Next, see what it costs.
